Avon Walk for Breast Cancer This is a letter from one of our good friends. We encourage you to support this cause. Hello to all of you, On May 17th and 18th, I will be participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I will walk the distance of a marathon the first day and one half a marathon the second day. Either way, it's a very long walk but nothing in comparison to the battle of those diagnosed with this terrible disease. To enjoy the privilege of walking in this event with thousands of others, I need to meet my goal of $2,000.00. This is money that will be used to help find a cure for breast cancer through medical research and help provide care to people in need. I walk because I can for those who cannot. This is the second year I am participating in the this wonderful event. It was remarkable weekend filled with committed and wonderful individuals. I heard incredible stories that weekend from breast cancer survivors, friends and families of survivors and those who had lost someone special in there lives to the disease. We walked, we talked, we laughed, we cried and knew we were part of something special. Each one of us knows somebody that is fighting, has survived or has lost the fight to breast cancer.
